Cops claim credit as 2 absconders held after 28 yrs

POONCH, May 15: Claiming big success, Surankote police today declared to have arrested two wanted criminals, who were absconding not for the last few weeks or months, but 28 long years.
They are both brothers hailing from Draba, just a few kilometers away from Surankote Police Station. Identified as Mohd Sharief  and Mohd Rashid, sons of Ghulam Hussain, residents of Draba, they were wanted in case FIR Nos 107/1985  and 228/1987 under sections 457/380/ 435 RPC. The police party under the supervision of DySP Ajay Kumar and SHO M A Mirza, led by    PSI Chetan Kumar arrested the both from draba last night.  Sub Judge Surankote had issued arrest warrants against them under section 512 CrPC.
