Copper weakens on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Nov 1:  Copper prices eased by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.
Traders said sluggish demand from consuming industries mainly put pressure on copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap declined by Rs 2 to Rs 433 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot 116-122, Nickel plate (4×4) 1,086-1,092, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 433, Chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 106, Lead imported 107, Aluminium ingots 168, Aluminium sheet cutting 169, Aluminium wire scrap 171 and Aluminium utensils scrap 168. (PTI)
