Copper, nickel decline on reduced industrial offtake

NEW DELHI, Aug 8:  Prices of copper and nickel drifted by Rs 2 per kg due to reduced industrial offtake amid a weakening global trend.
Traders said besides reduced industrial demand, a weakening global trend mainly kept pressure on copper and nickel prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap nickel plate (4×4) fell further by Rs 2 each to Rs 382 and Rs 938-943 per kg respectively.

Zinc ingot Rs 104-110, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 938-943, Gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, Copper mixed scrap Rs 382, Chadri deshi Rs 285.
Lead ingot Rs 100, Lead imported Rs 101, Aluminium ingots Rs 156, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 157, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 159 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 156. (PTI)
