Srinagar, May 1: Militants today fired upon a Police party at Lazibal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district injuring a cop.
An official said that militants fired upon police party in which one cop identified as Ghulam Muhammad received injury and was discharged after first aid.
He said that the attack was retaliated. However, due to darkness, militants managed to escape from the spot. “The whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers”, he added.
