Coordination panels to review progress of Agriculture Census

JAMMU, Mar 27: For reviewing and monitoring the progress of the 11th Agriculture Census Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Territory Government today ordered constitution of Coordination Committees at UT and District level.
The UT Level Coordination Committee, headed by Financial Commissioner (Revenue), J&K as the Chairman, shall assess, review and monitor the progress and issues of the Agriculture Census at UT Level.
It shall make recommendations to the UT Government for immediate disposal of the administrative matters with regard to Agriculture Census, coordinate with Ministry of Agriculture & farmers Welfare, Government of India and departments dealing with activities relating to the Agriculture Census.
Further, it shall provide all technical guidance to the UT Agriculture Census Division from time to time during the field work of 11th Agriculture Census 2021-22.
The District Level Coordination Committee(s), headed by the Deputy Commissioner concerned, shall assess, review and monitor the progress and issues to 11th Agriculture Census at District Level and make recommendations to the district Administration for immediate disposal of the administrative matters with regard to the Agriculture Census.
