Srinagar, Feb 9: Militants this evening shot dead a contractor in South Kashmir’s Tral area in Pulwama district.
A police official said that militants shot at Ghulam Nabi Mir, 60, son of Sanullah of Tral Payeen, a contractor by profession. He was shot from point blank range and died on the spot.
Security forces reached the spot immediately and cordoned off the area but militants had already fled away.
