JAMMU, Oct 11: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Anil Masoom here today started construction and renovation work at Geeta Bhawan in Ward 10 with an estimated cost of Rs. 34 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Masoom said that it was an old demand of the locals and devotees for the construction of renovated bathroom at Geeta Bhawan as many people use to visit the place and use the bathroom there.
Speaking on the occasion senior BJP leader, Yudhvir Sethi claimed that since after being elected to the local body, Mayor, Deputy Mayor and JMC Councillors of BJP have done many developmental works and are utilising funds for the development of their Wards.
Former Minister, Priya Sethi also spoke on the occasion while Parshotam Dhilechi, Parbhat Singh, Pawan Baru, Daleep, Sanjay, Ashok, Arun Sethi, Vishu Partab Singh, Ajeet Jogi, Rahul, Suresh Bharati, Nepun, Neeraj, Rajinder Sikha, Ravi and Rajive Sharma were also present on the occasion.
