53 COVID cases in J&K, 3 in Ladakh

LEH, Oct 11: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 53 COVID-19 positive cases while Ladakh recorded three fresh cases.
Only nine cases were reported in the Jammu region–four each from Jammu and Rajouri districts and one in Poonch.
Ten persons today recovered from the virus leaving 281 active cases in the region.
All three fresh COVID positive cases in Ladakh were reported from Leh district.
The UT of Ladakh now has 52 active positive cases—49 in Leh and three in Kargil district.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today witnessed dip in COVID-19 cases as 44 persons tested positive.
Those who tested positive include 23 from Srinagar, 5 from Baramulla, 8 from Budgam, 1 from Pulwama, 6 from Kupwara and 2 from Ganderbal.
The number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 206,489 including 203,469 recoveries and 2,252 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,049 including 768 from Kashmir division.
With 95 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 325,111 which is 98.35 percent of the total cases.
