JAMMU, Mar 12: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Inder Singh Soodan here today started construction work of a shed at a graveyard in Nanak Nagar area of Ward number 44.
The waiting shed was a long pending demand of the Muslim community and taking the demand as a genuine one, the Councillor urged upon the authorities in JMC to start the work as soon as possible after which funds were sanctioned and the work has been started today.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Mir Hussain, Haji Barkat Ali, Habib Ullah, Mohd. Ashraf, Alafdin, Sarafdin, Rashid Ali, Darshan Singh, Manmohan Singh and officials of JMC including AEE, Janak Singh Saini and JE, Rockey Churia.
