JAMMU, July 30: District general secretary Congress and president Beopar Mandal, Gurmeet Singh today criticised the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) over cleanliness in Ward 3 of East Assembly Constituency, here today.
He along with Ward president Harvinder Singh and other leader including Manohar Joshi, Apu Singh and Chand Sharma visited the ward and heard the problems being faced by the residents especially due to unhygienic condition.
After patient hearing to the problems of the locals, Gurmeet Singh said, “It is responsibility of the Corporation to look after the ward’s cleanliness with the help of concerned supervisor appointed the Corporation but due to lackadaisical approach of the department concerned, the locals have been forced to live in unhygienic condition.”
