Cong set to win all seats in Rajouri-Poonch: Shabir

RAJOURI, May 29: Former Minister and Congress legislator from Rajouri constituency, Shabir Khan today said that Congress Party is  set to win all the Assembly seats in coming elections in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
In a meeting of  the party workers  and many Sarpanchs and Panchs of the area held here today, Mr Khan asked all the party workers  to gear up their activities in view of coming  Assembly elections. He said the block and district unit leaders of the party should reach out to the masses and identify the problems of the people and try to resolve their issues. He claimed that Congress party is set to win all the Assembly seats in the coming elections in the State.
He pointed out that massive development during the regime of  Ghulam Nabi Azad in the State is known to all. Now Medical College has been sanctioned for the people of  Rajouri and Poonch here. The achievements in all other fields are also well known to the people. On the plank of development the Congress would seek votes from the people and the party would win all the seven seats in these twin districts.
The Congress leaders further claimed that his party would oppose any move to dilute Article 370 which is safeguard to the J&K State. This article has proved to be vital bridge  between the people of J&K and Union of India.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Shakeel Mir and Sain Abdul Rashid -general secretaries,  Mirza Qayoom, Mushaq Shawl, Mirza Zafar Khursheed, Kamal Bakshi and Sushil Sharma.
