JAMMU, May 22: Jammu and Kashmir unit of Congress Party paid rich tributes to former Minister Bhagat Chajju Ram on his 23rd death anniversary here today.
A condolence meeting was organized at Gandhi Nagar Jammu under the chairmanship of Congress leader Harinder Mahajan (Vicky), in which rich tributes were paid to the renowned leader Bhagat Chajju Ram.
The leaders recalled the contribution of Bhagat Chajju Ram for the Congress party and for the welfare of masses of Jammu during his tenure as Minister in State Cabinet.
Saroop Singh, Kewal Sharma, Kasturi Lal Gupta, Sudesh Prakash Bhagat, Kushal Sharma, Ved Parkash Bhagat, SK Anand, Bansi Lal Gupta, Raj Kumar, HN Khan, HL Sabarbal, Meenu Jamwal, Des Raj, Koshal Sharma, Varinder Mahajan (Toni), Farooq Choudhary from Doda and Dr. Ashok Gupta were also were present on the occasion.
