JAMMU, Apr 6: BJP State General Secretary & In-charge Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi today said that Lok Sabha election 2019 is a lost battle for opposition parties.
He said that root cause of their failure will be the way the leaders of these parties are trying to divide the State and society on communal and regional lines.
Addressing a hugely attended election rally at Jammu East Assembly Constituency, Sethi said that Congress, PDP and NC during past 70 years had been dividing the State on regional and communal lines, adding that they not only spoiled State’s economy but also pushed youth towards militancy and unrest.
“These parties who spread hatred amongst communities should be rejected out-rightly,” Yudhvir expressed.
He said these elections are going to not only strengthen BJP but also India in all terms, adding that the country is very safe in the hands of present dispensation and the time was ripe to elect it again.
Yudhvir said the nation which until now was divided has united to the core and is prepared to give a befitting reply to divisive forces.
“Congress and regional parties like National Conference (NC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) were inimical to peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir State. These parties misguided youth, looted state exchequer and promoted dynastic rule during past 70 years,” Yudhvir said.
He urged people to vote BJP to power and reject divisive politics of these parties, adding that NC demands separate Prime Minister for J&K but desires to get into Indian Parliament.
“PDP and Congress are also sailing in same boat,” Yudhvir said.
