JAMMU, Dec 9: BJP senior leader and former Union Minister, Vinod Khanna today accused the Congress and National Conference (NC) of misleading people of the State once again by making irresponsible statements during campaigning.
Addressing various election meetings and rallies here today to garner support for BJP candidates of Jammu East, Jammu West and Gandhi Nagar Assembly segments namely Rajesh Gupta, Sat Sharma (CA) and Kavinder Gupta respectively, he said it is unfortunate that instead of talking about development, employment generation and ending corruption and dynastic rule, the Congress and NC leaders are misleading the people with their irresponsible statements.
Mr Khanna a renowned cine star of yesteryears lambasted Congress and NC leadership of misleading people on the name of development made by them during their rule in the State and both these parties have been exposed for their hollow claims. Addressing the meeting at Kanak Mandi in Jammu East party candidate, Rajesh Gupta said there is an open report card of his past deeds available with the people and he remains committed to his ideas of public service.
