JAMMU, Mar 25: Congress MLA from Banihal and former Minister Viqar Rasool Wani today staged walk-out in the Assembly on being denied time to speak on grants of the Finance and Planning Departments.
As Speaker Kavinder Gupta asked Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu to start his reply on the grants, Viqar wanted to take part in the debate and described as “injustice” the denial of time to him.
He wanted the Speaker to extend time of the House but the latter refused after which Wani staged walk-out in the House.
