BJP holds meeting of State Election Committee

JAMMU, May 11: State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), held meeting of its “State Election Committee” for Parliament elections 2019, at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar here, today.
Senior leaders who were part of various sub-committees, under the main Committee to monitor various programmes during the conduct of the five phases of general elections 2019 in J&K State, participated in the meeting.
BJP State general secretary (Org., Ashok Kaul chaired the meeting. He was accompanied by sitting MP from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Mayor (JMC), Chander Mohan Gupta, BJP State general secretaries, Dr. Narinder Singh & Yudhvir Sethi and MLC, Ashok Khajuria.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the meeting, complimented all the senior party leaders who worked sincerely for the successful conduct of party’s campaign in the general elections 2019 in the State. He said that hard work always pays and BJP will win more Parliament seats in 2019 than that of year 2014 general elections.
Sharma, emphasized that during these elections, all the sections and the sects of the society, themselves with their own feeling, voted for the success of BJP & Modi and chose dedicated politics over opportunistic politics.
All present and past Congress leaders have misused nation’s valuable resources and now, when, they are being exposed, Congress leaders are turning into comedians sprinkling salt on the wounds of masses. Public will not spare Congress for its misdeeds, Sharma claimed.
Ashok Kaul, during the meeting, interacted with each leader as the member representative of the committee to have insight in their working. He prompted all committee members to submit detailed reporting about just concluded Parliament elections. He also prompted them to narrate their experiences of the whole process.
Kaul, stressed that BJP as an organisation has been built upon the strong principles of truth, sacrifice and service. He said that due to the great effort by BJP family, be it booth level worker, Ward, Mandal, district, State or national leader, the party is expecting best results. He urged the party leaders to carry on party work with the same momentum as the organization believes in the public working for continuous five years and not just only during the days of elections.
Dr. Narinder Singh conducted the proceedings.
