Cong to implement Food Security Bill: Mula Ram

JAMMU, Dec 12: Congress candidate from Raipur- Domana Assembly constituency Mula Ram under took door- to- door campaign in Kot and Ghaink Panchayats of Bhalwal block and appealed the people to vote in his favour and strengthen Congress party for better development of their area.
He said that Congress has policies and programmes for the welfare of people of all walks of life. The UPA Govt headed by Congress, had launched many welfare schemes for the up-liftment of people of every section of the society but it was unfortunate that some important schemes launched by UPA Govt have not been implemented in this State due to arrogant attitude of coalition partner. He said that Food Security Bill, which ensures food guarantee to every soul living in the Country has not been implemented in this State. He assured the people that Congress party will implement this scheme, if voted to power.
The Congress candidate further said that Congress seeks votes on its performance. The present position of India is due to the efficient leadership and Government provided by the Congress party after independence. He lashed out at BJP for showing day dreams to the people in the Parliamentary elections and added that it cannot befool people all the times. He asked the BJP what it did for the people of Jammu after securing 11 seats in 2008. The BJP MLAs did nothing for the development of Jammu and never raised any issue of the public concern and added that whatever development took place that is due to Congress party because Congress party is committed for the balanced and equitable development of all parts of the State.
Senior party leaders Hari Singh Chib said that Raipur Domana Constituency is lagging behind in the field of development. He said that BJP’s candidate is outsider. He is not aware of the problems of people of this constituency. He said Mula Ram is a local candidate having exact knowledge of the public issues and can serve the people better. He appealed the people to cast their vote in favour of Congress party.
