Cong, Bar, others support today’s Jammu bandh call

JAMMU, Sept 21: More political parties and trade organizations have supported tomorrow’s Jammu bandh call for which has been given by Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has announced its full support to the bandh call of JCCI. This was stated by JKPCC chief spokesman, Ravinder Sharma while addressing a press conference at PCC Headquarters here, today. Former Ministers and vice presidents of the party, Mula Ram, Raman Bhalla, , Kanta Bhan, general secretary PCC, Th Manmohan Singh besides other senior leaders Suresh Dogra , Karan Bhagat, Ajaz Choudhary were present in the press conference.
JKPCC leaders said Congress party has been opposing the anti people policies of BJP and Modi Government and now each and every section of the society feels the pain the economic policies of BJP. They said the Congress party fully respond to the call of the bandh and supports the bandh on burning issues which will lead to wiping out of small and middle traders of Jammu province.

Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHBA), Jammu has also supported the bandh call. In a statement issue here, today , the Bar Association said the bandh call has been given by CCI and other business and trade organizations to draw the UT administration’s attention towards the hardships being faced by them on account of some faulty policies. It said the Chamber president, Arun Gupta has approached the Bar Association seeking its support to bandh call and after threadbare discussions the Bar Association has decided to support the call.
Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha has also extended its support to tomorrow’s bandh call. The Sabha which met here, today under the leadership of its president Romesh Chander Gupta said that Sabha will show full solidarity and support to bandh call given by Jammu CCI.
Jammu Kashmir Forest Contractors and Forest Base Industries Association has also fully supported the Jammu bandh. In a statement State general secretary of the of the Minor Forest Produce Extraction and Industries Association, Vikrant Kapoor while fully supporting the call for tomorrow’s Jammu bandh said they strongly oppose the discriminatory policies of Government towards Jammu.
Lok Janshakti Party led by Rafiq Malik and corporator, Ritu Choudhary has also extended full support to tomorrow’s Jammu bandh against the opening of showrooms and shops of Reliance in Jammu.
District Development Council (DDC) Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony has strongly condemned the administration for allowing Reliance to open its 100 stores in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory and extended full support to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bandh call.
