R K Kalsotra, while laying emphasis on the efforts of the Confederation at State as well as national level, stressed the need for raising a fight on social as well as political fronts in the best possible constitutional ways. He advised the younger generation to come forward and take the challenge.
Dr Rajinder Kumar laid emphasis on the need to study a lot as this is the only way to know the truth, becoming rational and resolve the issues existing among various communities in the society. Dr Jitender Bhagat said that the fundamental rights can’t be secured unless we as intellectuals don’t focus on our fundamental duties. Vijay Bhagat urged that it is the duty of the Government to sensitize the issues like Article 370 and 35-A and how certain sections of the society have been benefitted selectively. Mohd Arif conveyed that majority of the labourers and landless belong to Dalit communities and we should assert our rights by making our local representatives answerable.
Guldev Raj Bhagat said that Dalit should not be discouraged by the existing scenario. “If we get united and do our duties properly, there is no doubt that injustice can’t be denied,” he said. Kulwant Singh said that no one can stop an organization to succeed as long as they have some ideology.
Further strategies were planned at the meeting in order to keep checks on the existing Government so that the rights of the under represented communities are taken care of and the policies pertaining to these sections are implemented properly and in toto.
