Concern over water scarcity in Jagti township

JAMMU, Sept 19: Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of Bansi Lal Koul discussed various problems being faced by the inmates of the Jagti township.
As per a release, the meeting expressed concern over the water scarcity in the township saying the inmates have been put to many hardships due to the same.
It said the water supply has been affected due to unscheduled power cuts and demanded that the power curtailment be notified to Jagti township inmates.
The meeting demanded that the new water supply scheme be constructed for the Jagti town to ensure daily water supply and the technical staff for the same be deployed. The meeting demanded posting of staff in the camp Commandant’s Office. It however welcomed the decision of Union Government to enhance the cash relief. The meting was attended by Annu Ji, Sanjay Raina, Raj Kapoor, A K Laddu, Chand Ji Pandita, A K Labroo and Ravi Jutshi.
