JAMMU, Mar 26: National Panthers Party (NPP) MLA from Ramnagar, Harshdev Singh today expressed serious concern over the delay in issuance of allotment orders of works relating to PMGSY schemes.
Calling the attention of the Government towards the situation that has arisen due to non-issuance of allotment orders of works relating to PMGSY in the Legislative Assembly, Mr Singh said, “due to delay the fate of developmental works hangs in balance for quite long time and this has become practice particularly with regard to PMGSY works”. He asked the Government to fix the responsibility and take action against erring officers.
However, Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir on behalf of R&B Minister said, “six packages of Majalta have been sanctioned under Phase VIII of PMGSY and for this purpose tenders were received and now the works have been allotted”.
