SAMBA, Sept 25: Month long “Computer Tally” training programme organized by SBI-RSETI concluded today.
In the training programme, 23 candidates hailing from different villages of district Samba attended the training programme, out of which 17 candidates completed the programme successfully.
On the concluding day, Chand ji Tickoo, Regional Manager, Region III, SBI, Zonal Office, Jammu was the chief guest, who presented certificates to the participants.
While speaking, Tickoo said that by attaining the training, the participants can earn their livelihood by setting up their units. “No one can remain untouched with the computers in present scenario and the training in computer tally, will provide them jobs at their door steps”, he added.
Mahesh Kumar Gupta, Director of Institute assured full support including financial assistance from banks.
BM Sharma, Lead District Manager, SBI, Samba in his address stressed upon the participants to take their profession seriously.
Surinder Singh, DDM, NABARD and SL Sharma, Coordinator, FLCC also expressed their views.
Later, local advisory committee meeting to review the progress of the institute for June 2013 quarter was also held at the institute, which was chaired by Chand ji Tickoo and attended by all its members.
