Computer Dealer Association organises ‘Say No to Drugs’ Run

JAMMU, May 17: Jammu Computer Dealer Association, popularly known as JCDA, organised Run for Fun Season 3 on the theme “Say No to Drugs” at Tawi River Front, here today.
JCDA is the apex body representing business owners dealing in computers, office automation, and other IT products and services in Jammu.
As part of its commitment to promote healthy living amongst its members, JCDA organises a five kilometre run every year and in this connection this year the event was organised in alignment with the 100 days anti-drugs in initiative of the J&K Government.
The event was attended by the members of the association, their employees and family members. The participants were seen with placards against drug-abuse and they were shouting slogans against the same.
While addressing the gathering, Mr. Atul; Mahajan, President of the association stressed for an active lifestyle for a better and meaningful life. He asked the attendees to keep a strong vigil over the youngsters so as to save them from drugs as are the future of the nation.
Dr Gopal Parthsarthi Sharma, General Secretary lauded the UT administration, particularly J&K police for unprecedented crackdown on drug traffickers and asked the public at large to report any suspicious activity to the law enforcing agencies at the earliest.
The whole event was organized by S. Jatinder Singh, Organizing Secretary with active cooperation of R C Sharma, Vice President and S Gurpreet Singh, Treasurer of the association.
