Communalism has no space in civilized society: Luthra

JAMMU Apr 8: Bimla Luthra, MLA undertook another phase of door-to-door campaign in support of alliance candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Madan Lal Sharma, here today.
Urging the voters, especially women and the young people, to be part of massive democratic exercise, Bimla Luthra said this is the time when they can put their stamp for change to make the nation a peaceful abode where people of all faiths can live with a sense of dignity and as equal citizens.
Luthra referred to the challenge posed by communal forces and exuded confidence that politically sagacious people will teach them a lesson with the strength of their votes. “Communalism has no space in civilized society,” she said.
Interacting with the people at Nanak Nagar, Trikuta Nagar and Gandhi Nagar, Luthra said that vote to the alliance candidate will be support to the progressive policies of the Government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Prominent among those who joined the door-to-door campaign included Veena Oberia, Satwant Kour, Anju Grover, Balbir Kour and Poonam Sharma.
