Committee clears 272 cases of affiliation

JAMMU, Apr 17: The State Affiliation Committee of J&K Board of School Education today cleared 272 case of affiliation by various private schools in Jammu and Kashmir divisions.
Total 195 cases of extension and 77 upgradation cases were cleared by the Affiliation Committee, which met here today under the convenorship of Prof Veena Pandita, Chairman BOSE.
The meeting was also attended by Farooq Ahmad Shah, Secretary School Education Department; Rakesh Kumar Srangal, Director School Education Jammu and other members.
All the cases having completed the requisite formalities were cleared for affiliation in the meeting, which was held in a short span of six months.
