JAMMU, Sept 6: Central University of Jammu is going to start coaching programme for students appearing in Combined Competitive Examinations (KAS), from September 13.
This is the first ever initiative by Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu to provide an opportunity to under privileged students of J&K who could not prepare for civil services competitive examinations due to lack of opportunities.
In this regard, Central University of Jammu invited applications through online/in person for coaching programme and the last date was August 26 for submission of application forms. Response among students was overwhelming and encouraging resulting into enrolment of more than 180 students from every nook and corner of J&K. The class work of said coaching will start from September 13, 2016 at its Temporary Academic Block (TAB), Sainik Colony, Jammu.
The Vice Chancellor has appointed Dr D L Choudhary, Incharge, The Yoga Centre, CUJ, as Convenor of coaching programme who will promote the coaching of combined Civil Services Examination in Central University of Jammu.
