JAMMU, Apr 26: A delegation of College Teachers Association, led by president Dr Sanjay Verma, called on Minister for Higher Education Mohd Akbar Lone and discussed SRO 124, dated April 21, 2014.
The CTA president apprised the minister that a number of teachers who are about to get higher grade pay in the near future, were finding it difficult to fulfill the conditions laid down in the SRO 124 in the short span of time.
The minister assured the delegation that due consideration would be given to such cases. He invited the Association for further discussion over the issue in the presence of Secretary Higher Education at Srinagar.
