JAMMU, Apr 23: A delegation of College Teachers Association called on Jammu University Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohan Paul Singh Ishar and discussed with him various issues concerning the cadre.
The delegation, led by its president Avinash Gupta, demanded enhancement of remuneration rates and release of the pending dues related to various examinations and other assignments.
Prof Naresh Padha, Registrar JU, who was present in the meeting, apprised the association that their genuine demands especially the pending dues concerning evaluation work shall be sorted out at the earliest. The matter, he informed, is being dealt jointly by both the Universities of Jammu & Kashmir in light of the University Council resolutions, he added.
