JAMMU, Feb 16: Sainik Samaj Party has expressed strong reservations over the recent order on Government permission for construction/ renovation of residential as well as commercial complexes in rural areas.
In a statement, the Sainik Samaj Party President, Col S S Pathania said that the required permission for construction would lead to corruption and harassment of poor villagers.
“We are well aware of inefficiency, red tapism, no transparency, no accountability and corruption in Government departments. The poor villagers are likely to be exploited and made to run from pillar to post in getting permission for construction,” he said and urged the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to immediately revoke this order.
