JAMMU, Mar 7: Police arrested Manager of a Coaching Institute for kidnapping and raping a teacher of the institute.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Station Nowabad stating that Manager of Mahindra Coaching Institute identified as Abhishek Bajaj, son of Rakesh Bajaj, a resident of Rajinder Nagar allegedly kidnapped and raped her. The lady, who was teacher in the Mahindra Institute, was also allegedly confined by the accused.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 43/2021 under Section 366, 343, 376, 385, 427, 506 and 507 IPC was registered at Police Station Nowabad and hunt was launched to nab the alleged rapist.
After medical examination, the lady was handed over to legal heirs.
On specific information, a joint team led by SHO Nowabad Inspector Deepak Jasrotia and SI Ravinder Singh conducted raids in several areas and finally nabbed the rapist.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
