JAMMU, Mar 12: A lecture on `Hepatitis B and its Havoc in Our Society’ was organised here, which was delivered by Dr Shoket Choudhary, a renowned gastroenterologist of Government Medical Colleges, Jammu.
In his lecture, Dr Choudhary highlighted the facts of Hepatitis B virus and referred to concerned specialty. He dwelt in details the steps that were required to prevent the virus and cure it.
The GMC gastroenterologist, who had presented several papers on the subject, elaborated on prevention of disease.
Dr Annil Mahajan, Professor and HoD Medicines Department, GMC Jammu hailed efforts of Dr Choudhary for his lecture and research on the subject and hoped that he would continued his similar efforts in future to benefit the patients.
