Clerical staff holds protest, submits memorandum

JAMMU, May 16: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association held one day protest at Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office pertaining to their demands.
Addressing the gathering, Anil Mehta, Chairman, condemned the callous attitude of the Government for its failure in implementing various agreements carried out between the representatives of the association as well as with the leaders of JCC.
He said that the Government is compelling the clerical cadre to come on the road one again to get their legitimate demands redressed.
Mehta urged the Chief Minister and the Finance Minister to intervene in the matter and redress the issues of the clerical staff at the earliest.
Among others who spoke were Ravi Singh, president, Sukhbir Singh, general secretary, Ravi Kumar Sharma, senior vice president, Yash Paul Sharma, district president, Jammu, Ravinder Singh, etc.
Later, association leaders submitted memorandum to Chief Minister.
