JAMMU, May 20: A joint meeting of the representatives of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association ( JKLADCSA) was held wherein they in one voice condemn the State Government for deliberately backtracking from their commitment, today.
The members of the association apprised the Government about the plight of the clerical cadre as the backbone of the State administration working from dawn till dusk with full integrity and dedication performing multiple tasks. The demands raised includes like of grade of 4000-6000 to Junior Assistant and 4500-7000 to Senior Assistant, release of pending DA @ 10 % wef January 2014, increase of medical allowance from Rs 300/- to Rs 1000/pm, formation of policy for regularization of adhoc/daily rated workers/casual labourers etc, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, merger of 50% DA into basic pay.
The meeting was attended by Khurshid Ahmad Dewani, Javeed Ahmad Akhoon, Bharat Bushan, Seva Ram Rathore, Yashpal Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Munish Sharma, Anil Keser, Pawan Kumar, Udday Singh Pathania, Pritam Singh, Mohd Iqbal, Meenakshi Sharma, Javed Ahmad and Umer Jan.
