Clerical cadre employees appeal CM, FM to redress demands

JAMMU, July 25: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association (ADCSA) has appealed to the Chief Minister (CM) and Finance Minister (FM) to redress the demands of the clerical cadre employees.
He said the clerical cadre being back bone and pillar of the Administrative Sector needs to encouraged by way of removing pay anomalies which have been persisting since long. Since the Government has already removed the pay anomalies of various cadres but clerical cadres had been ignored, he added.
While speaking, Ravi Singh Bhau, president, Anil Mehta, Chairman and Ravi Kumar, senior vice president criticized the Government for its silence over the already agreed demands of the clerical cadre. They said that the Governments made a numbers of agreements/commitments with the clerical cadre for removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre but failed to implement the same.
They added that the Government upgraded the pay scales of Head Constables from 4300-5900 revised and again clerical cadre has been ignored.
The members added that the Government has changed the basic qualification and service rules of clerical cadre from time to time but the pay anomaly of the clerical cadre has not been removed.
They appealed to the Chief Minister to provide justice to the clerical cadre by personally intervening in the matter by issuing instructions to the concerned authorities for issuance of orders for removal of the pay anomaly of 5th Pay Commission by granting the pay scales, exemption of secretariat training exam bar, issue regularization order of daily rated workers/ Adhoc/contractual/Need based and finalizing seniority and conducting of DPCs in various Departments.
Among others present were Ravinder Singh, RP Sharma, Advisor, Brijesh Mehta, Secretary, Yash Paul Sharma, District President Jammu, Manohar Singh, District President Kathua Balbir Singh, District President Udhampur, Hans Raj, District President Samba, etc.
