POONCH, July 30: Youth National Conference today asked Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to clear her party’s stand on Article 35A and protect special status of the J&K instead of issuing statements.
In a press statement issued after ending his two days tour of Mandi and Loran areas of Poonch, Jammu Provincial president of Youth NC, Ajaz Jan said that statements issued by Mehbooba Mufti are not less than a surprise.
“At a time when PDP is part of Government, instead of making decisions and protecting special status of State, CM Mehbooba Mufti is issuing only statements”, Jan said and termed this approach of CM as ‘Dual Faced’.
“If you are so annoyed with BJP, why don’t you break ties with them”, Jan said and asked Mehbooba Mufti to stick to one stand instead of sticking to both stands. He asked the CM to clear her stand on special status of the State and do something to save the same.
