MENDHAR, May 16: A girl studying in class 10th was allegedly raped by a man last night.
The incident took place last night when the girl went to a relative’s house to attend a marriage function.
The incident came to light this morning when she disclosed the matter to her family members who lodged a complaint in police station Mendhar.
The police has registered a case FIR No 59/2015 against the accused who has been identified as Mohd Riaz son of Abdul Ghani, a resident of Banola. The accused is absconding, police said.
