JAMMU, Oct 18: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted `Civil Defence Corps’ in the districts of Reasi, Ramban, Kishtwar, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Kulgam.
District Magistrate of the concerned district is the controller to command such Corps within his jurisdiction.
According to a notification in this regard, issued by the Home Department, Civil Defence Corps have been constituted in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of Section 4 of Civil Defence Act, 1968.
