CII delegation calls on DC Samba

JAMMU, July 18:  A delegation of CII J&K State Council led by Rajesh Sharma, its vice chairman called on Sushma Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner Samba in her office chamber today.
Sharma along with other members of the delegation apprised her about the issues being faced by the Industrialists of Samba. The delegation requested her to take up the concern for allocation of dumping ground for hazardous waste of industries. Also, the delegation discussed the need to set up power station in Phase III and the requirement of better connectivity between Phase I and Phase II.
Gourav Khajuria, convener skills panel and Member CII J&K State Council briefed her about the skill development initiatives which has been taken up in different districts of J&K including Samba, Ramnagar,  Udhampur and Reasi. He informed her about the work initiated by CII in collaboration with GKITR to train and place candidates under various schemes of Government.
The DC  gave a patient hearing to all the issues and assured speedy and timely action on the demands of CII members.
The delegation comprised of  Rahul Sahai, Gourav Khajuria, Harvinder Singh, Vicky Mahajan, Jaspal Singh, Darshan Lal and Vinay Sharma.
