NEW YORK, May 21: ‘Batman’ trilogy director Christopher Nolan is reportedly in talks to take charge of the next ‘James Bond’ film.
The 42-year-old filmmaker is in the middle of informal talks with Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson to helm the film, which will be the 24th in the series, reported the Huffington Post.
“It does no harm for Broccoli and Wilson to talk with Nolan, even if nothing happens this time round,” a source said.
The producers are said to have discussed the ideas for the Bond 24 film and beyond.
Nolan is also a Bond fan and had previously expressed his desire of making his own film.
“It would have to be the right situation and the right time in their cycle of things,” he had said. (PTI)
