SRINAGAR, July 31: All Jammu and Kashmir Chokidar Association today protested against successive Govern-ments for not fulfilling their demands including increase in monthly honorarium from Rs 450 to life sustainable amount.
The protesters accused the government for their failure to provide a monthly remuneration to them despite entrusting them a lot of works in villages.
The protest rally was led by representatives of all the districts from Kashmir under the leadership of social activist advocate Zahid Hussain Dar.
