JAMMU, June 7: Natrang is conducting “Children Theatre Workshop” from June 12 at its studio theatre, Kachi Chawni, which will be conducted by Sumeet Sharma.
This is informed by Natrang Director, Balwant Thakur during a press conference here today.
Personality development training, public speaking, memory development, confidence building, infusing creativity through the latest developed techniques would be imparted in a comprehensive manner during the workshop, he added.
Theatre is one of the most effective medium of human development and Natrang in the last 31 years has developed such training methodology for children, which has shown amazing results, Thakur said, adding that drama is one of the arts through the practice of which children may grow and mature as superior human beings.
Thakur, the core visualizer of this workshop, added that such trainings mark a very deep impact on the minds of the children, who not only cherish the process but also remember the learning forever which help in their proper grooming and self exploration.
Director of the workshop Sumeet Sharma has successfully conducted past nine children theatre camps and many more training workshops for children and adults as well.
With a view that children will do all other activities as per their desire in the holidays, the timings of the workshop have been kept in the mornings, he added.
