Chib visits Suchetgarh areas, condemns Pakistan

JAMMU, Oct 27: Senior Congress leader and former Minister R S Chib visited areas of Suchetgarh sector and interacted with residents of villages located on the zero line of International Border.
Mr Chib while addressing the public meetings at Karotana Khurd and Hanso Chak strongly condemned the role of Pakistan for targeting the innocent civilian population. He said in the back drop of existing situation on Indo-Pak Border and LoC, it would be meaningless to talk friendship with Pakistan. Mr Chib lauded the role of security forces and administration, deployed in the Border areas in such a situation.
Mr Chib also took stock of the damages caused due to shelling and assured the residents of these border villages for all possible help from the Government. He also assured them that the Government will take all possible measures to provide security to the farmers for harvesting their paddy crops located on the zero line of the border.
Mr Chib was accompanied by S Harnam Singh, Swarn Lal, Rashpal Singh and Sawarn Singh, all Sarpanchs and other prominent Kissan leaders of these areas.
