JKB organizes literacy camp

JAMMU, Oct 27: For awareness of people about various schemes of its deposits and advances, J&K Bank organized a literacy camp at Panchayat Ghar Dager.
The camp was presided over by JKB Chakmalal Branch Head Ashok Khajuria while FID Incharge Vipan Malhotra and Advances Incharge Sumit Gupta were also present on the occasion.
During the camp, Branch Head Ashok Khajuria made the participants aware about the aim and purpose of organizing the literacy camp. Listing the benefit of opening account, particularly in light of the fact that in future all subsidies by the Government will be given to the consumer through their Bank account only, Mr Khajuria apprised people about various schemes and products of deposits and advances of the Bank.
The Branch Head made them aware of various employment schemes and asked people to avail benefit from these schemes.
The participants in the camp put forward certain points and suggestions such as opening of a J&K Bank branch in Dager area and payment of electricity bills at the Khidmat Centre.
Mr Khajuria assured to forwards all the demands to higher authorities for their redressal.
Sarpanch Goutam Sharma, Panch Sanjay Kumar and Babli Devi were among the guests.
