DODA, Apr 4: All India Students Federation (AISF) has said that the Government has neglected Chenab Valley Region in education sector.
Addressing a press conference, AISF State President Mukesh Parihar said “3 months back, BJP-PDP Government by Cabinet orders sanctioned Cluster University for Jammu City which was for erstwhile District Doda (Chenab Valley), which is a joke with the students and public of the Chenab Valley”.
He added that in the recent order Higher Education Department has also neglected Government Degree College Doda in upgradation from UG to PG College.
“We are ready to start fresh agitation if Government will not establish University in Chenab Valley and will not upgrade GDC Doda”, added Parihar.
Among others present were Rajit, Akash, Manju Devi, Nasir, Sachin, Sumit, Sarvi Devi, Arun, etc.
