Chassana residents apprise Director Health about poor services

JAMMU, Jan 1: A delegation of the residents of tehsil Chassana in Mahore, Reasi district, today called on Director Health Service, Jammu and apprised him of the virtually defunct Health services in the area.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Director Health Services, seeking completion of construction work of PHC Gota on fast track, filling up the vacant post of MBBS doctor, regular and other Paramedical staff at PHC Gota, Tulli and Bana, replacement of old defunct X-ray machine at PHC Gota and sanction a post of Driver as Ambulance at PHC Gota was lying defunct in absence of a driver.
The villagers explained that two posts of MBBS doctor and one post of Dental Surgeon were lying vacant in the PHCs for the last more than seven years. Moreover, they added, one post of Supervisor Pharmacist and one post of JSN were also lying vacant in PHC Gota.
The delegation, led by Sarpanch Chassana-A, local Panches and others , informed that construction work of PHC Gota was started in the year 2010-11 but after ground floor slab, the work was left midway without any reasons.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that all the issues would be addressed as early as possible for providing better Health services in the area.
