SRINAGAR, July 21: A man slipped to death after he ran for his life when a bear attacked him in Boniyar, Uri.
Manzoor Ahmad Awan son of Abdul Rehman of Pringal Boniyar while grazing his cattle in a nearby forest was attacked by a bear. He tried to run for life but slipped and fell into deep gorge, a police spokesman said.
Later his body was retrieved in critical condition and was shifted to a hospital for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead, the spokesman said.
