Charity show ‘Jazba’ held

JAMMU, Jan 20: Ashwani Art Academy–a voice for a change organized “Jazba” charity event at Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, which was organized to support Khalsa Aid–an International non profitable group serving the mankind at national and international levels irrespective of region, caste and region.
The impressive cultural programme was presented by young artists of the State, which includes modeling representing different States. Group and duet dance performances by young dancers were highly appreciated by the audiences.
Gatka demonstration from Khalsa Aid and a play on the theme of “Beti Padao Beti Bachao” by Ashwani Art Academy left the audience spell bound.
On the occasion, Ranjit Kalra, Vice Chairperson, J&K State Sports Council and Member, BCCI was the chief guest, while Pardeep Dutta, Former IGP Satinder Singh Bajral, RS Gill, Kamal Preet Singh Naib Tehsildar Jammu, Sunil Kesar, Kanta Sharma Renowned Theater personality, Jatinder Kour noted singer, Pardeep Bhola, President, Ashwani Art Academy, Ashwani Bhola, Chairman, Ashwani Art Academy, Manpreet Kour, Vice President, Ashwani Art Academy,  Amanpreet Singh, CEO of Khalsa Aid, Ashu Kotwal and Anuroop Pathania were also present.
Award of honors were also presented to the Vishal Bachoo, a Young Rapper, who had represented State on different level and winner of Goa Hallowen festival, Kanta Sharma, winner of best actress award in various State level Drama festivals, Satwant Singh Rissam, PHD Research Scholar, columnist and Amarpreet Singh, CEO Khalsa Aid India.
