‘Chandi Paath’ by Jammu Yatri Bhawan at Haridwar during Navratras

JAMMU, Sept 21: Like the previous occasions, Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust will organise “Maa Chandi Paath” and “Shree Ramayana Paath” at its Haridwar Bhawan on the auspicious occasion of “Sharad Navratri Parav”, which commencing from September 26.
Amidst chanting of Vedic hymns and performing other Hindu rituals, the religious programme from September 26 to October 4 is being organized for the welfare and prosperity of the families of all those who are associated with the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust in particular and public in general.
This was informed by Gurdas Sharma, General Secretary of the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust while briefing media persons. On behalf of the Trust, he invited all such devotees who desire to take part in “Maa Chandi Paath” and “Shree Ramayan Paath” and seek blessing of Maa Durga Ji. However, he added, the devotees who cannot remain present for whole of the period, may participate on the commencement of Chandi Paath or its culmination with Pooran Ahuti.
“For the convenience of the devotees who desire to take part in “Maa Chandi Paath”, but cannot move to Haridwar due to their unavoidable circumstances or domestic reasons, can also become a part of it by sitting at home. They have to fill up our prescribed form and become a Yajmaan.
