Chandel demands promotion for sanitation workers

JAMMU, June 9: National chairman of Rashtriya Valmiki Sena, Raju Chandel today demanded promotion for all educated sanitation workers at par with Central Government employees.
It was stated by him during the press conference which was jointly addressed along with Rinku Gill Valmiki, J&K Sena president and alleged that the J&K Administration is ignoring and neglecting the country’s largest Corona warriors as no new recruitment is being done on vacant post of sanitary workers.
Chandel said that there are many sweepers who are well educated but due to Government’s negligence they were not promoted to next level.
He also appealed the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to issue an order and promote educated sanitation workers to next level along with regularization of all Safai-karamcharis who have been working for the long time with NGOs.
