SRINAGAR, Sept 4: State Vigilance Organization (SVO) today presented challan against Ahsan-ul-Haq Khan, the then Incharge AE (REW) Pattan, Mohammad Hussain Pujoo, the then orderly functioning as Incharge Sub-Division Clerk (REW) Pattan and Manzoor Ahmad Dar, the then orderly (REW) Pattan before the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption, Srinagar.
According to the Vigilance case, Mohammad Sarwar Tantray, son of Mohammad Qasim Tantray of Agar Dasgerpora, Sumbal constructed two dug wells at Dasgerpora, Magam under NREGA Scheme against which two separate bills were raised by concerned Junior Engineer and submitted the same to the then AE (REW), Pattan, Ahsan-ul-Haq. However, the accused AE demanded illegal gratification of Rs 6000 from the complainant for processing these files.
During investigation, the officials of SVO caught red-handed Ahsan-ul-Haq along with two more accused namely Mohammad Hussain Pujoo and Manzoor Ahmad Dar while demanding and accepting the bribe money.
